What do you guys think about the possibility of Glenn Beck running for President or VP in 2012? Who do you think he would run with? Palin? What are the chances of him winning?
I ask this because I think he has really gathered a following in the past few years and with the Democrats self-imploding, those folks on the fence are starting to lean more conservative.

That would be a stretch. I don't think he likes politicians? That is a good, but hard question to answer, but would anyone else take him seriously?

I love Beck like a brother, but he's DEFINITELY not professional politician material.

Let me quote godot here, "Thoughts? If Brown won...ooohhh. That would be delicious." Imagine our country led by truth, integrity and honor with a love for its history and its people.

I would LOVE to see Glenn Beck run. He would finally be someone I could 99.5% of my trust in and there is little that could be used to discredit his reputation. He is well versed on all subjects and his moral compass is on point!

Okay, nominate him. I don't think Obama would lose any sleep over that - in fact he might even have a private chuckle.

You mean like the chuckle he's having now with his approval ratings being better than Bush's? Please remember, that Bush was "placed" in office, and "didn't win the election".
2/25/2002 - Realclearpolitics.com's average job approval rating for George W. Bush was 78.4% approve, 13.3% disapprove.
2/25/2010 - Realclearpolitics.com's average job approval rating for Barack H. Obama was 47.8% approve, 45.5% disapprove.
Now, you know that personally, I don't put too much stock in polls, but I know that YOU do.
Please, tell me exactly how we are better off with The Annoying One in office right now, and why he has any reason to feel any confidence regarding his ability to take on all comers?

I certainly got a chuckle.

If you're referring to Obama, he's annoying only to those chronically allergic to positive change. Wasn't the economy in dire straits as the election approached back in 2008? - seems to be doing just fine now. I'm not claiming there's no potential Republican nominee who could give Obama a run for his money in 2012 (depending on circumstances) - just saying that nominating a fanatic like Beck would in effect be forfeiting the election altogether.

There really is no way to speak to you, Beans.
You call the present economy "just fine", and refer to the crap that is taking place in Washington as "positive change", and expect to be taken seriously?
You know what, I retract the second part of that. The laser-like focus on pushing through legislation that is more unpopular than the Iraq War could result in some very positive change indeed. The Democrats stand to lose so many seats in both houses of Congress, you might very well go blind.

If you're referring to Obama, he's annoying only to those chronically allergic to positive change. effect be forfeiting the election altogether. What positive change? The man has done nothing but try to federalize industry after industry, banking, automobiles, student loans, health care, etc. I am sure oil will be next. In addition, he is taking away more and more individual rights. I don't know if America can survive four years with Obama, let alone 8.
