Don't talk to me about global warming when here in Florida we are having one of the most severe winters in my lifetime.

Yea, we got down to 8 in Dallas last week and had snow 3 times in December (unheard of). I hope my plant life survives this.

30's Next Week!!!!!! However, being Minnesota this heat wave will never last, as from the NWS, below temperatures are expected in Alaska, and that cold are will head south sooner or later, Minnesota will see another blast of cold, if not, severe cold at some point in time.
Regarding to Glover's comment, I though the left and the dumb changed global warming to climate change?
WTF-the earthquake has absolutely nothing to do with climate. It is a geological event. If I remember correctly from HS/ College, that earthquakes are caused by fault lines and two different plates on the Earths surface colliding & rubbing against each other, NOT an ice cube melting?

Seriously now... (for once ) Do we really need to delve into how ridiculous this statement is from a physics standpoint? Is the new theory "Plate Tectonics and how ambiant air temperature influences these shifts?"

And there are liberals who hold the opinion that it being cold, during winter in the US doesn't discount facts like reduced/absent snow on Mount Kilimanjaro proves that humans have caused changes in worldwide climate. Ignoring one, rather compelling localized event, in favor of another is one reason the climate change debate never gets anywhere.
Well, that, and ignoring that the planet operates in a cyclical nature, and we, geologically speaking, just had an ice age, it's a wonder that more people haven't panicked and looked to personal space travel as a means to escape the rock that we are destroying.
But, you know, why let science get in the way of scientific debate?

Oh, yeah. Forgot to mention the millions of dead fish in Florida's waterways as a result of much colder than normal temps.
But we have global warming to worry about because of a smaller than "typical" snowcap that is not affecting local wildlife significantly.
