I am tired of being an American. I am tired of seeing the evil and lazy being rewarded and treated well, while the average American is treated like garbage. I am tired of paying higher and higher taxes, and being forced to do ridiculous things at the government’s behest, while the lazy people and wrong-doers benefit. Our idiot governments on every level (City, County, State, and Federal) keep spending more money than they have. This is an unsustainable situation. America needs to change.
Let’s take Criminal Justice, America coddles its prisoners. Prisoners should be given what they deserve, punishment. The last time I looked, at least in California, the purpose of prison was to punish (Section 1170 of the California Penal Code). So do that. Any person convicted of a felony as an adult should go to prison. No probation for adult offenders. You go to prison it should be something that is unpleasant. No mail and no visitors for the length of your time in prison. Prisoners should receive two meals per day, breakfast and dinner. Prisoners should receive only basic medical care while in prison. You get cancer while in prison, too bad; guess you’re going to die. Also, prisons have become a graduate school for criminals. This is solved very easily. All prisoners should be housed alone in one person cells with no contact with other inmates. They should never be allowed outside of their cell during their sentence. They can be fed in their cell. They want recreation? They can do push ups, sit ups, and jumping jacks. No TVs, no radios, no books, no magazines. They should have just a cot, a toilet, and a sink in their cell.
Furthermore, our prison sentences are weak. In all likelihood, Chelsea King and Amber Dubois would be alive if John Gardner had received the sentence he deserved in 2000 for raping a 13 year old. Sentences need to harsh enough to fit the crime.
Molest a child: Mandatory Death Sentence, carried out immediately. No appeals at all.
Rape someone: Mandatory Death Sentence, carried out immediately. No appeals at all.
Commit Arson: Mandatory Death Sentence, carried out immediately. No appeals at all.
Smuggle or Deal Drugs: Mandatory Death Sentence, carried out immediately. No appeals at all.
Adultery: Mandatory Death Sentence, carried out immediately. No appeals at all.
Participation in a Street Gang: Mandatory Death Sentence, carried out immediately. No appeals at all. I don’t care if you stole a 50 cent pack of bubble gum for the gang. If you did so, we are going to execute you. Gangs are running rampant in the United States. There are upwards of 80,000 documented gang members in Los Angeles County alone. That is 80,000 that ought to rounded up and put to death forthwith. These people have no value as human beings. They are a plague, parasites.
Steal a car: 20 years in prison.
Burglarize a home: 25 years in prison.
Rob someone: 25 years in prison.
In fact, we should close our Appellate Courts altogether.
All prison terms ought to be served consecutively. You commit three auto thefts, guess you’re doing 60 years in prison. And you should serve your complete sentence. No time off for good behavior. You misbehave in prison and we start adding to your sentence, in five year increments.
Social reform:
Food Stamps. Eliminate them. They are excessively costly and are rampant with fraud. If you can’t afford to eat without food stamps, then I guess you better get a job. Welfare. Have a start date, say January 1, 2012. Welfare will exist for five years after that date. On January 1, 2018, welfare is gone for good. If you can’t afford to eat without welfare, then I guess you better get a job. If you can’t afford to have children without welfare, than don’t have the children. It is not the job of the government to support you, support your children, or provided you health. It is your responsibility. Kennedy said it best,”Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country.”
Driving:
In order to receive a driver’s license, one should meet certain requirements. One should be required to be at least 18 years of age. One should be required to pass an I.Q. test with a minimum I.Q. of 100. If you score a 99 on the I.Q. test, sorry you’re too stupid to drive. One should be required to pass a drug test. Fail the drug test; sorry you’re too stupid to drive. One should be able to demonstrate fluency in the English language. The last time I looked, our traffic signs are in English, not French, Tagalog, Vietnamese, German, Spanish, Farsi, etc.
Immigration:
The United States has 300 million people in it. We have no vacancies left. We are full. No immigration (legal or Illegal) and only limited tourism from outside of the United States. Close the borders. Put 1000 foot walls on the Canadian and Mexican borders, with electrified razor wire, and land mines.
Career Politicians:
Too many people get elected and remain there. The Founding Fathers intended elected officials to maintain a regular job and work only part-time as our representatives. They are all over paid, and corrupt. Every elected office in the United States at every level of government should be limited to two terms. George W. Bush and Barrack Obama will both receive 100% of their salaries, $400,000.00 for life in retirement, this is regardless of the fact that both men are multi-millionaires. Why does the President receive $400.000 per year as a salary anyway? They don’t have any expenses. Housing, food, utilities, transportation, protection, and staff are supplied to them. The President should receive a Stipend at best, say $40.000. All salary and retirement increases should be voted on by the people. Not by the elected officials themselves.
