Why is there no "International Duct Tape Day"? Seriously, the stuff's been around for less than a century, yet is used in every major country for oh, so many things.
I have proposed that June 22 be declared IDTD, in recognition of this wonderful substance (date selected since it is the birthday of Richard Gurley Drew, the man who invented Duct tape, as well as cellophane and masking tapes).
If you are on facebook, please look up the phrase "International Duct Tape Day", and join the first group listed, and we'll see if we can't get 3M involved in this effort with several member of that group to indicate an interest in this worthy cause.
