Watch. Obama and his stooges THINK it's a trap for Republicans, but as long as he won't give up on pushing his/Dems' "healthcare" bill, and won't specifically back away from reconciliation as a way of defeating the will of the people and the real rules of Congress. The Republicans will be standing with--as they've stood with--the majority of the American people, and no amount of showmanship is going to let him wiggle out of that. I think his Rasmussen approval index may crack -20 for the first time. www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/obama_administration/obama_approval_index_historyhe recently got a rally-round-the-flag bump for Afghanistan after his SOTU bump, but combine STILL trying to ram through the healthcare monster with his tax lie (which all conservatives knew was coming), and I strongly suspect he's going to permanently lose another 5% of voters for both him and Dems in Congress, at least. If they actually go through with it----it'll be Demaggedon in November. Worse than what they're facing now. Voters will be single-ssiue voters specifically looking to vote in Republican supermajorities to override a Presidential veto, so that any "healthcare" the Dems pass by reconciliation can be repealed as fast as possible. It won't be possible in the Senate--there simply aren't enough seats up for grabs in 2010--but by 2012 it will be. In the interim, Republicans can work on defunding the agencies created to oversee this Orwellian horror (should it come to pass), the states can pass laws to fight the federal law, and of course if passed many sections of it will be challenged in court, especially the odious individual mandate. I really think the White House has underestimated how much that particular component is hated. People do NOT like to be commanded, and think it's the height of chuttzpah to force us to buy health insurance, which amounts to a tax on merely existing.

Sure is nice that Barak Hussein Obama is going to Nevada to help Reid. Harry can you spell Titanic? Nice for the Mayor of Las Vegas to just say no!

www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/obama_administration/obama_approval_index_historyTwo days in a row at -19 on the Rasmussen index. Ha! As long as the conversation is about healthcare at all, Obama can't win. I wonder if Obama's Shytown thug advisors have figured out that this meeting is going to be a political loser for them after all. They thought that because one conversation between Obama and Republican legislators seemed to help Obama by making him look "Presidential,", then of course it would work again. Well, they're not getting the lectern business again, but apart from that, this is a golden opportunity for free advertising. The Republicans can stand against Obamacare strongly and win no matter what in almost all independents' eyes, even if they didn't have quite constructive ideas to offer, as they do. If I could offer one piece of advice to the Republican leadership it would be to emphasize the unconstitutionality and intrusiveness of the mandate, the command, the diktat to buy healthcare insurance as especially odious and unacceptable. This part angers people, I think, more than even the cost and creation of a new entitlement program. Oh please, Ghost, let Obama show his face everywhere, in every state. I just love it when he does this. In the face of all evidence of the effects of his appearance, he continues to stump for the Dems. But of course that's Bush's fault.

Third day in a row at -19: www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/obama_administration/obama_approval_index_historyHe'll crack -20 soon. I suspect you'll see 60% disapprove on Rasmussen soon. Just a hunch. I'll make another prediction: IF they ram the United States Populace Lifelong Control Act of 2010 through (aka, the "healthcare" "reform" bill), independents will go 75% for Republicans in November, not just 66%. And they won't stop until there are enoguh Senators and Congressmen to override a Prexy veto on "healthcare" repeal.

Ooops! Forgot to take into account the anticipatory moonbat approval increase: www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/obama_administration/obama_approval_index_historyBut the "strongly disapprove" remained unchanged; the 3% increase on "strongly approve" are the Obama worshipers having Obamasms at the thought of their messiah on tv, taking on Republicans. It's not as if the moonbats matter. But I am still betting on his "strongly disapprove" ipercentage ncreasing solidly and permanently in the week following this meeting.

Ding ding ding! We have -20 approval index. Damn, but I'm getting good at seeing this stuff coming*: www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/obama_administration/daily_presidential_tracking_pollOh, and that only other time Obama's number on this index was lower? 12/22/09. And what did the public already know was coming down the pike?: www.cnn.com/2009/POLITICS/12/22/health.care.senate.vote/index.htmlYeah, that's a coincidence. I tell you, not only could we run a disabled banana against Obama in 2012 and win, but I'll make another prediction--Republicans will win a veto-proof majority, maybe in 2011, definitely by 2012. I don't know how many/what Senate seats are up in 2011, an off-year election (no House seats should be up, unless there are some retirements), but there must be some. If the Dems pass this thing by reconciliation, then anyone who runs on an explicit platform of repeal cannot lose. You can laugh off Reid's "non-repeal" language; it's been long since established in case law that future congresses are never bound by the actions of past congresses. *Well, I am.

How looooooooooow can we go? -21 www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/obama_administration/daily_presidential_tracking_pollImportant takeway numbers for moonbats and Dems, if there's still any difference: "Only 35% of voters believe Congress should pass health care reform before the upcoming midterm elections anyway. Fifty-four percent (54%) say Congress should wait until voters select new congressional representatives in November." That's a 19% deficit in a group of people who are going to be very angry, and are by definition likely--very likely--voters, if they care so much as to say "wait" on this question. So figure you've lost at least 17% of the vote automatically, in every state, Dem incumbents, if you vote for this thing. This is free-for-nothing gratis analysis what I am giving to youse incumbent Dems, on account of how I like you so much.

Speaking of "Moonbats" how 'bout that Jerry Brown running for Gov of Calif. Geez, I'd think I'd rather have Calif. fall in the ocean then have this moron be Gov.

Wow, very surprising non-response. Whitman vs. Brown is a very big deal, not just the state of California, but Nationally. California needs to become less liberal and progressive not more! CG13.
